Maple View Farm, the people who bring you the local ice cream that we love, presents their Maple View Agricultural Center Tour. The tour includes:
- Classroom Learning Lab: Learn the benefits of sustainable agriculture and farm life, and the process of producing and bottling milk and making ice cream.
- Hayride and see the farm, in a covered wagon ( plastic covers the hay bales for those concerned about being in contact with the hay).
- Barnyard Exploration: see Cows, Goats, Llama, Miniature Donkey, Lambs, & Bunnies
Tour does not include an ice cream sampling but don’t think we’re leaving without heading over to the Maple View Country Store for a scoop or a sundae from a choice of 22 flavors! If you know what’s good for you, you will too! The tour starts at 1:00 PM and we suggest that you arrive 15 minutes early.
