Welcome to Your New Home Town!
Since 1992, the Newcomers Club of Greater Chapel Hill has
provided opportunities for members to connect,
learn and explore the rich history and social life of the Triangle.
Couples and individuals who have lived in this area
for less than three years or who have experienced
a major life-changing event qualify for membership.
With over 350 members, our Club offers hundreds
of activities and events throughout the year!
Book groups, golf, hiking, walking, mah jongg, lunch &
coffee groups, dinners, singles groups, documentary film
discussions, and regular educational and social events
are just some of the activities you’ll enjoy with Newcomers.

As a Newcomers member, you’ll meet new residents
as well as those who have been here for a while and know
the area. This is your opportunity to become part of
an active and vibrant community of friends!
Come to a Meet & Greet!
Join us on Monday, March 2nd at Rasa Malaysia for
Cocktails and Conversation from 5:00pm-6:30pm.
Stay afterwards for Dinner 6:30-8:00pm if you’d like.

We’re a non-profit Social organization and we can help you
learn about the area, engage in fun social and
cultural activities and make new friends!
Meet & Greet is a social event where current
Club members meet with new and
prospective members over snacks and drinks,
and share the fun that Newcomers has to offer.
The event is free
(you’ll pay for your own cocktails & dinner).
