This is a great time to reconnect with other members and learn about upcoming events.
New Member Parties
Informal evening parties are held at least twice a year in a member's home to allow our newest members to become better acquainted with each other and club activities.
Socials
The Social Committee plans several events each year.
Newsletter
From September to June, the editors prepare a monthly newsletter that is sent via mail and a monthly newsletter that is sent via email to all members, giving details of upcoming events.
Service
A local service organization and/or activity is highlighted in the monthly newsletter.
Cancellations
Coffees/General Meeting/Special Events
If the weather is bad when any of these functions are scheduled, please tune to
radio station WCHL, 1360 AM, to listen for cancellation announcements.
Interest Groups
Interest group hosts who must cancel should contact the leader of their
group, who will arrange for an alternate location, or cancel or reschedule the
event. In case of poor weather, participants should call the leader or the
hostess to learn if the event has been canceled.
